What is the typical salary range for a Newborn Specialist/Postpartum Doula?
The average salary range for a Newborn Specialist/Postpartum Doula Care is $15 to $35 per hour if under 24 hours. No extra charge for multiples. Day and nights differ in price.
What Fees can I expect to pay?
There is a one-time $100 reservation fee that is prior to meeting to reserve a postpartum visit-date (virtual or in person, depending on location). This can be paid online or with reservation form to Debra at 305-498-6722.
Newborn Specialist/Postpartum Doula is confirmed for the assignment. Fees are paid daily or in full based on anticipated total time period of employment. Credit Card or Cash. A reciept will be provided upon completion if requested. Supplemental fees will be due if the assignment is extended.

Postpartum Care at Home
Overnight Care
As your postpartum doula, Debra can arrange to spend the night at your home, helping with night time care such as changing, burping, swaddling, waking mom to breast feed, so mom is able to sleep more soundly, without worrying about all the typical noises baby makes. Don’t forget some special care for Mom & Dad, which includes foot massages, tea and your cuddle time alone…Overnight care is based on a (6-8) hour scale. Overnight care can help profoundly following a surgical birth. Typically 10pm – 6am.
6 am to 6 pm – day time hour rate
6 pm to 6 am – night time hour rate
Postpartum Doula Fees
Minimum (4) hours.
Base fee $15 – $25. for daytime hours
$30 – $45. for night hours. Holiday fee may vary.
This is determined by logistics, length of time needed, includes travel time and gas coverage.
A phone consult to discuss care, hours, cost and services provided, if a home visit is requested, $100. charge, which is applied to cost of care. The postpartum care agreement is reviewed and if accepted by both, deposit and full payment on first night of service is required. Estimation of no. of days/nights is flexible.
There is a (4) hour minimum of total daytime hours, no minimum for nights. Any additional hours will be subject to availability and mutual agreement. Please give 24-hour notice if you would like to have your postpartum doula meet you at your home, following release from the hospital. Remember, No extra charge for TWINS!!!
Debra can provide INSURANCE CLAIM FORMS FOR REIMBURSEMENT NOW WITH BETTER QUALIFICATIONS TO HAVE YOUR POSTPARTUM DOULA CARE SERVICE COVERED.
